ANNUAL ATHLETICS 2025/26

The CGSD Annual Athletics brings together students from Playgroup to Class 11 in a vibrant celebration of sports, teamwork and school spirit. Students compete across a variety of track and field events, representing one of the school's three houses: Courage, Generosity and Service. For the 2025–2026 academic year, Service emerged as the Overall Champion with 400 points, followed by Courage with 314 points and Generosity with 306 points. 

CGSD Inter-Class Sports and Academic Competitions

Throughout the academic year, CGSD organises a wide range of inter-class competitions that encourage participation, teamwork and healthy competition. These include the Autumn Term Obstacle Challenge for Playgroup to Class 2, the Winter Term Inter-Class Football Competition for Classes 1 and 2, and Inter-Class Sudoku and Chess Competitions for Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2. These activities promote physical fitness, critical thinking and collaborative learning in an engaging environment.


BAF Shaheen English Medium School Football Tournament

Our students also competed in the BAF Shaheen English Medium School Football Tournament, where both the Under-14 and Under-17 Boys' teams advanced to the quarter-finals, showcasing their growing talent and competitive spirit.


Sir John Wilson Junior Football Tournament

The CGSD Under-14 Boys' team achieved an outstanding milestone by finishing as Runners-up at the Sir John Wilson Junior Football Tournament, reflecting their commitment, teamwork and sporting excellence.

Hurdco International School Football Tournament

CGSD proudly participated in the Hurdco International School Football Tournament during the 2025–2026 academic year. Demonstrating teamwork, resilience and determination, our Under-14 Boys' team delivered an impressive performance, reaching the semi-finals of the tournament.
