What We Look For
Successful teacher candidates demonstrate:
● A Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred for Secondary Level positions).
● Native or near-native fluency in English.
● Professional teaching qualifications (B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent) and a commitment to continuous professional development.
● Strong knowledge and experience of the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curriculum, from Primary to A Levels.
● Familiarity with Cambridge assessment practices, marking schemes, and inquiry-based, cross-curricular teaching approaches.
● A passion for holistic education through active participation in co-curricular activities, school events, and community service.
● A willingness to contribute to CGSD's commitment to the Round Square IDEALS, fostering internationalism, leadership, democracy, environmental stewardship, adventure, and service.
● Excellent classroom management, strong communication skills, and the ability to build positive partnerships with students, parents, and colleagues.
● Confidence in integrating technology into lesson planning, teaching, assessment, and reporting.
